This is what you will do:

We are looking for a Schouwer/HAS Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing chimneys and installing and maintaining fiber optic networks at homes and businesses. Do you have an eye for detail, are customer focused and don't have a 9 to 5 mentality? Then we are looking for you!

Core duties and responsibilities:

- Perform inspections at various locations according to schedule or client appointments.

- In consultation with the customer, determine the optimal route for the fiber optic cable and the location of the connection.

- Communicate to the client what the chimney entails and its impact.

- Identify where to route fiber optic cable, taking into account construction and organizational details.

- Take detailed notes and photographs of the inspection results and relevant elements.

- Collection and processing of data in software programs.

- Report to the project manager on the progress and challenges of inspections.

- Collaborate on process improvements for work processes.

- Install and maintain fiber optic networks to homes and commercial properties according to technical specifications.

- Checking and testing fiber optic connections.

- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and generate technical reports.

- Collaborate with other departments and project leaders to achieve project objectives.

- Ensure maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment.

- Carry out a role model role and contribute to a productive and positive work environment.

Safety, health and environment:

- Promote safety and cleanliness in the workplace.

- Conduct and encourage workplace inspections.

- Compliance with the consultation structure within the organization (kick-off meeting, toolbox meeting, etc.).

- Make decisions resulting from KAM activities.

- Analyze data on accidents and unsafe situations in consultation with the KAM coordinator.

- Monitor progress and quality requirements as required by the client.

- Compliance with rules and regulations within the organization.

Who are you?

- Minimum of VMBO working and thinking level.

- VCA certification or willing to obtain it.

- Knowledge of standards/guidelines, materials and execution techniques.

- In possession of a valid driver's license.

Other skills:

- Mastery of relevant digital systems and MS Office.

- Communicative strong, both in Dutch and English.

- Willingness to take courses and/or training.
